smallsolutions receives $100,000 grant to expand the SEED Program in Uganda

As part of Exxon Mobil's $1 million commitment to invest in the expansion of high impact, sustainable technologies that advance economic opportunities for women in the developing world, smallsolutions was awarded a $100,000 grant for its community based renewable energy initiative in Uganda.

smallsolutions received the grant to scale and expand its energy enterprise development (SEED) program in Uganda and to develop best-practices to replicate the program in other african countries.

Through ExxonMonbil's program partners, Ashoka's Changemakers, the Thunderbird School of Global Management and the International Center for Research on Women (ICRW), smallsolutions will receive support for the further development of its concepts involving the use of innovative technologies to enable women's access to energy in a sustainable and scalable manner..
